Amplifying Impact in Organizational Change through a Coach Approach

This session will explore how a collaborative effort between the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) and the International Coaching Federation (ICF) is developing key insights on how harnessing both change management and coaching skill sets can amplify impact in organizational change. The ACMP-ICF Joint Task Force has been examining the “power of both” over the last two and half years and this session will focus specifically on one of their four focus areas, the use of “coach approach” in organizational change and transformation initiatives.
Task Force Leader Maria Darby and Task Force “Coach Approach” co-lead Kevin Zemetis will share the ACMP-ICF view on the value of adopting a coach approach as an essential and powerful tool in the change practitioners toolkit. Additionally, they will welcome input from participants and invite all to be part of this dynamic collaboration of the two professions.
Kevin Zemetis is an executive change advisor and expert team facilitator.
Over the past three decades he has served as a senior consultant, advisor, as well as program and project leader for many transformational efforts involving core process improvements, organizational restructures, innovation, learning and growth, as well as cultural change.
Kevin was the President and CEO of the Strategic Results Center and Vice President of International Operations for the Balanced Scorecard Institute where he led scores of organizational transformation engagements across a diverse set of public sector, non-profit and for-profit organizations in the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Europe.
Kevin is one of the first 500 Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) Certified Change Management Professionals and a Project Management Institute Project Management Professional.
He is committed to advancing the art and science of change management practitioners worldwide.
Kevin currently serves on the ACMP/ICF Joint Task Force focused on leveraging the competencies of both coaching and change management professionals for the benefit of client organizations.
