Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is about more than fair hiring and retention practices, though those are important.
It is also about providing an environment that allows every employee to feel safe, to feel like they belong in the organization and in their positions every bit as much as every other employee.
The members of this panel will share their experiences in jobs that, knowingly or not, made them feel like they did not belong.
They will address the personal and professional costs of those jobs, as well as the costs to organizations that left them feeling like outsiders.
And they will discuss both the requirements and the benefits of a successful DEI program.
